Capital Programme and Major Maintenance overview session

Wednesday 7 December, 3pm to 5pm. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Councils' Capital Works Programme for 2016 to 2018.

This workshop provides some insight into:

  • the current Financial Years capital works programme
  • next years Financial Years capital works programme

This workshop will appeal to all consultants and contractors with an interest in delivering design or advisory services, and construction works to Council.

Hear from the City Services planning and delivery team as well as legal and procurement specialists, clarifying programme detail.

The session will run in three parts:

  1. Overview and Introduction (David Adamson)
  2. FY17 Programme (Heads of Dept. Planning and Delivery Managers, ODPM)
    • HSE Criticality. Council performance and compliance requirements
    • PMO FY17 Programme Overview. Programme Progress and tracking YTD
    • FY17 and FY18 Programme. Perspective from each Head of Transport, 3 Waters and Vertical Capital Delivery
    • Contract Management and Site Control. HSE, Site Control, Delivery expectations
    • Procurement Models. Market approach, panels, tendering protocols
    • Major Maintenance Contracts Overview
    • SCIRT Update (Transport and 3 Waters)
  3. Moderated Q&A

Council will take questions from the floor. Those answers that can be supplied 'there and then' will be answered on the spot - otherwise Council will post the written answers on GETs.
