Build Back Smarter service

Build Back Smarter is delivered under a partnership between Christchurch City Council, EECA, CERA and MBIE.

This RFP is issued by Christchurch City Council as the lead agency behind the Build Back Smarter service. Responses are sought from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of home assessment services and the production of Healthy Home Improvement Plans for home owners who need to have their homes repaired following the Canterbury Earthquakes.

Successful applicants will have experience in one or both of the following:

  • Carrying out energy efficiency assessments of homes looking at features such as insulation, heating, lighting, glazing, and ventilation.
  • Procuring installation services for some or all of the above features.
