The Christchurch City Council adopted the Dog Control Policy 2025 and Dog Control Bylaw 2025 at its meeting on 3 September 2025.
The Council adopted the Dog Control Policy 2025 and Dog Control Bylaw 2025 at its meeting on 3 September 2025. The policy and bylaw come into force and will replace the 2016 policy and bylaw on 3 November 2025.
The policy and bylaw will be available on the Council website or at Te Hononga Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street, Christchurch.
