The Council has approved the temporary closure of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.
Duvauchelles Hillclimb
Road to be closed:
- Pigeon Bay Road from #46 Pigeon Bay Road to Summit Road
Period of closure:
- From 9 am to 6 pm Sunday, 16 June 2024
Charter parade event
Roads to be closed:
- Worcester Street from Cambridge Terrace to Press Lane
- Cathedral Square - Entire length
- Colombo Street from Kilmore Street to Lichfield Street
- Oxford Terrace from Cashel Street to Gloucester Street
Period of closures:
- From 1pm to 3pm Friday, 28 June 2024
- Roads are to be progressively opened when safe to do so after parade passes.
These closures are to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles and vehicles directly involved with the event. No resident vehicular access will be available during the period of the proposed closure.
