The Christchurch City Council amended its Freedom Camping Bylaw 2021 on 15 November 2023. The amended bylaw comes into force on 22 November 2023. It can be viewed online at www.ccc.govt.nz/bylaws(external link), at all Council libraries, customer service desks, at the Civic Offices at 53 Hereford Street, or by phoning the Council on (03)941 8999 or 0800 800 169 to request a copy.
