Work will start on 20 April 2021 and is expected to be completed by mid June (weather dependent). Work will be undertaken between Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. |

Details
What you need to know:
- Most of the work will be along the boundary with Nicolson Park along the line of the existing sub main.
- Most properties have vegetation that grows over the boundary, this will be trimmed on the Nicolson Park side to assist the pipe laying works.
- In some places it is difficult to ascertain which water connection serves a particular property. In this instance the City Care workers will have to enter properties to confirm flow at outside taps. They will door knock prior to checking the flow.
- In some places the submain is laid though private property to serve other properties. City Care workers will have to enter these properties in order to locate the exact position of the sub main. In this instance they will door knock to inform the occupants.
- Most of the sub main will be laid on the ground due to the difficult site conditions for trenching.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
