Details
- This upgrade work will involve a full reconstruction of the intersection including new kerbs, drainage pipes, footpaths and landscaping.
- There will also be traffic calming works on Blakiston Street, Mavin Road, Kaiwara Street and Hurunui Street.
- Parts of this work will be noisy with some noise coming from trucks, heavy machinery and workers along the road as we locate existing services and upgrade the road and surrounding area. We will provide plenty of notice around this at the time.
- There will be some disruption to traffic using the intersection during construction and, if we do need to close the roads, there will be clear traffic management and detours in place so you'll know where to go.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
