The safe and sustainable school travel programme is designed to support schools in making travelling to school safer. More children walking and biking to school helps to lower carbon emissions.

We work with schools to provide resources and workshops that promote safe and sustainable travel.  Our support complements existing school travel planning processes and enhances them with our ongoing assistance.

Schools that are already making progress in this area can sign on for our range of support without having to complete a full travel plan.
