There are so many different ways to practice aerial arts: for performance, fitness, as a hobby. But when we showcase our skills live how do we know if we're truly connecting with our audience? thrilling them and leaving a lasting impression?

In these workshops: Aerial Artistry, you will explore the ways in which your hard-earned techniques can be delivered with eye-popping impact and finesse. We will cultivate a fresh perspective on what works - and what doesn't, when it comes to aerial performance for an audience who longs to be 'touched' and 'moved' by your expressive energy.

Rather than going through the motions of pose-to-pose, we will explore ways in which we can go beyond athletic ability alone and move toward artistic principles such as aerial aesthetics, rapport, tension/release, observation/feedback, musicality, and strategies to produce movements that affect the audience on the heart level.

Prerequisites – These sessions are most suitable for intermediate-advanced aerialists looking to take their routines to the next level.

Materials – Please bring note-taking materials and a water bottle and dress appropriately for aerial work. If you have your own apparatus, please bring it.
