Te Oka Reserve Track

This fantastic scenic walk leads down to the swimming beaches at Tumbledown and Te Oka Bays.

Start Bossu Road, Little River
Finish Te Oka Bay and Tumbledown Bay

Time 1.5 hours one way (downhill)
Dogs Prohibited for the protection of wildlife
Accessibility Not suitable for wheelchairs

The track is unformed and over open tussock grassland with a short walk on gravel roads near the bottom of the reserve.

There are red markers leading all the way down to Te Oka and Tumbledown Bays.  

Arrange a car to pick you up from the beach or make the return climb (approximately 2.5 hours) back up the hill to your car.
