Inappropriate stormwater inflows to the sewer system during wet weather are causing problems with the vacuum system. Installing air admittance valves will allow the system to cope better with unplanned flows. |

- The works involve installing a chamber and an air vent in the footpath area to contain the new valves, and laying connections to the vacuum pipes in the roadway.
- Trenching and excavation works will restrict vehicle access at times.
- The Contractor will be in contact and make suitable arrangements if access to your property will be temporarily cut off during the works.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
