We'll be working hard to make sure construction work causes the least amount of disruption possible.
Hours of work:

  • Day shift works will be between 7am to 7pm (Monday to Saturday)
  • Night shift works will 7pm to 7am (Sunday to Friday)

Night shift work includes: line marking, road surfacing, kerbing, and installation of signage and sign posts.

Day shift works includes: kerbing, footpath and threshold construction, and installation of signage and sign posts.

During all shifts:

  • There will be some noise disturbance.
  • Some street side parking may be temporarily unavailable.
  • Temporary road shoulder and lane closures will be required to undertake the work safely
  • There may be delays through some intersections.

Work will happen in stages and in specific locations. This means we won’t be working along the entire street at one time – just where we’re installing signage, road markings, and constructing speed limit thresholds.

We plan to start work at the end of February, but the start and completion date depends on the weather. We need fine weather for road surfacing and line marking. Work is expected to take four weeks to complete.

Please contact John Fillmore Contracting Ltd if you have access requirements or want more information.
