Children's day

Children's Day 2023 is being held on Sunday 5 March between 11am and 3pm at the Green Space, corner of 152 New Brighton Road and Locksley Ave.

Children's Day is a free community event which is about celebrating children. The day is about having fun, learning and gaining information. More importantly, parents and caregivers don’t have to say no, as all activities are free.

We invite your organisation, group or school to participate in this event with options to:

  • Perform on the main stage.
  • Provide roaming entertainment or performances.
  • Promote your organisation, group or school through displays, demonstrations, sports and games.

I am aware we must provide a free interactive activity for children and their families to take part in.

Please note: Only not-for-profit groups may run a stall and they must have a children/family focus. If you are fundraising there is a $15 or 5% charge of takings (whichever is the lowest) for all stalls fundraising.
