We’ll be doing overnight investigation works at the intersection of Shirley Road, Marshland Road, North Parade and New Brighton Road between Sunday 21 April and Sunday 28 April.
Investigation work is required to understand the underground service location and condition, as well as any potential clashes or risks to construction. This work will help us to plan for the intersection safety upgrade.
This work may be completed in one night (on 21 April or 22 April), but we have allowed for up to a week, in case bad weather causes delays.
We will be installing a temporary, four-way stop-go system at the intersection.
We know this work can be disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
