Work On Your Road
- The work on your road is going to be carried out in two stages. During both stages, we will maintain a lane of traffic in each direction, however, on-street parking will not be available.
- During the first stage, we will be working on the northern side of the road (January to mid-March). During the second stage we will be working on the southern side of the road (mid-March to mid-June).
What You Need To Know
- There will be road cones and construction vehicles operating whilst work is being carried out.
- Throughout the course of this project, access to your property will be available, however, some disturbance is to be expected (driving on gravel, road plates).
- During the first stage, while driving on Innes Road towards the east, the left turns onto Jamieson Avenue, Nancy Avenue and Philpotts Road will be closed.
- During the second stage, while driving on Innes Road towards the west the left turns onto Mersey Street, Severn Street, Thames Street, Ethne Street, Jamieson Avenue, Nancy Avenue and Kensington Avenue will be closed.
- Work will be rescheduled if the weather is bad.
- There may be periods of noise and vibration, we will aim to keep this to a minimum.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
