- The works are for a full renewal of the road from boundary to boundary. Works will start with investigating underground services, then progress on to repairs and renewal of the stormwater pipes.
- We will be constructing new kerbs and channels, footpaths, grass berms, carriageway, cobblestone thresholds, planter gardens, carriageway pavement and chipseal surfacing. New street trees will be planted in Autumn 2020.
- Some properties have vegetation overhanging the boundary that will need to be trimmed back to enable construction, contact will be made with the affected properties.
- Sections of on-street parking will be restricted during the works. There will also be short-term road closures for some activities, such as laying the cobblestones across the road. Property access will be disrupted when activities are directly outside your driveway. We will make contact with you to ensure you can get cars out ahead of the work.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
