Phone banking is a service provided by a bank or other financial institution that enables you to perform a range of financial transactions over the phone, without the need to visit a bank branch or automated teller machine.

COVID-19 rates update

On 2 April 2020 the Council agreed to a package of measures to help alleviate financial stress faced by many businesses and households in our city as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The package includes offering a rates payment extension of up to six months for eligible ratepayers who are experiencing financial hardship because of the pandemic, and a three month rent holiday for some of the Council's commercial tenants.

To set up phone banking

To set up phone banking contact your bank to set up phone banking.

If you pay by phone banking on the due date, we will treat the payment as received on time.

Our tip: 
Banks have different cut-off times for processing transactions. Pay before 5pm on the due date to avoid a penalty.
