The line between audience and performer is obliterated. Young and old, musically experienced and non, all come together to create the groove.

Each Random Act of Music is unique. People from all cultures can come together on these accessible, modal-based instruments. When people learn to listen and play communally, magic happens.

Through skilled facilitation, we may reveal the quirky 'free time' loop being played by a five-year-old child, with immense concentration, or experience a solo duel between two or more high flyers.

In case of wet weather, the event will be in the Great Hall.

This event is part of The Arts Centre's School Holiday Fun, a lively programme packed full with events to nurture creativity, spark imagination and entertain pre-schoolers through to teens.
