Fulton Hogan will be completing hydro excavation works along Maugers Drive from Port Hills Road to Scruttons Road.
Hydro Excavation is the science of digging with water. We'll be using high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum to remove soil. The soil will be transferred to a debris tank to keep mess to a minimum. This is a safe, non-destructive and accurate way to remove soil and locate underground utilities, such a pipes, electrical cables and phone lines.
Traffic will be limited to one lane with traffic control in place. Access to properties will remain open but slight delays maybe experienced.
This work is expected to take approximately 10 days to complete.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
