The existing water main pipe has reached the end of its life and now needs to be replaced. Some of the wastewater connections will need to be realigned so that they are not in the way of the water main. |

Details
What you need to know:
- The third and final phase of this project will begin shortly.
- Phase three involves installing a new water main from 25 Rogers Street to the Rogers Street and Huxley Street intersection, highlighted on the reverse map.
- We may also need to realign the wastewater connections to the property boundary.
- A rolling road closure will be in place between 25 Rogers Street and the Rogers Street and Huxley Street intersection. Works will begin at 25 Rogers Street then progress down the street.
- At times, properties may have restricted vehicle access. Our contractor will be in contact with affected properties.
- The work may result in increased dust, noise, and vibrations. We will aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.
- Please note that the P&P Dairy and Big J’s Takeaway on Rogers Street will remain open throughout these works. Designated parking spots will be maintained for customers.
- We will continue to keep you updated as this project progresses, detailing upcoming works, including any foreseeable impacts.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
