Why |
The playground was previously removed as it was unsafe and no longer fit for purpose. A new modern play space will be constructed that is safe, fit for purpose and meets the current NZ Playground standards. |

Details
- Construction of a new play space which will include a raised mound with a slide, a spinning spiral net, a flying saucer basket swing and various nature play elements.
- Recycled Rubber playground surfacing under the playground equipment
- Installation of new park furniture and the refurbishment of some existing park seats
- A new drinking fountain
- Enhancement of the plant beds
- A new asphalt path
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
