 Details

  • We will drill a new well within the grounds of the pump station and decommission an existing well in the berm outside 20 Blighs Road. Some large machinery will be mobilised to the pump station which will require mobile traffic management.
  • Temporary traffic management will be set up for about a week on Blighs Road when the old well is decommissioned. You will be able to access your property at all times. No work will be done on Sundays or public holidays.
  • Drinking water will not be affected at all.

Onsite hazards:

  • There will be construction equipment and workers on site and construction equipment moving into and out of the work site.
  • The drilling operation will create noise but we will aim to minimise noise as much as possible. The drilling is the main construction activity, which is currently scheduled to take place intermittently from early December 2021 through to early April 2022, with a break over the festive period.
  • Thank you for your patience while we upgrade the pump station.
