Details

Traffic impacts

  • Works will take place down the center line of Hayton Road and we intend to maintain one traffic lane westbound.
  • A section of Nga Mahi Rd will be closed from 13 September 2021 to late December 2021.
  • We will be temporarily removing parking on both sides of the street where trenching works are taking place.
  • No permanent changes to the existing road layout are planned.

Turning restrictions

  • It will not be possible to cross the road where works are taking place.
  • There will be no right turns at the intersections where trenching works are passing through.

 Private laterals

  • We will be replacing wastewater laterals to all property boundaries as part of the scope of works.
  • We will check private laterals by CCTV from the street as we progress. If your lateral is damaged we will notify the property owner of the issue. It is the responsibility of the owner to repair the private portion of their laterals.
  • As the laterals and wastewater mains are replaced, the contractor will ensure temporary measures are in place to maintain service.
