Details
- Work area: Geraldine Street, Edward Avenue, Allard Street, Cleveland Street, Madras Street, Forfar Street and Barbadoes Street, Edgeware. Refer to map for details.
- The works will be staged, with the first stage happening on Cleveland Street around mid-July 2021.
- The second stage will happen on Geraldine Street.
- Traffic will be managed to keep road users and workers safe.
- Access to properties will be maintained using steel plates, where needed.
- On-road parking will be limited during the works.
- Wastewater mains and lateral connections to property boundaries will need to be accessed, including work across berms and footpaths.
- Please advise the contractor if you have any specific access requirements – e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, or any planned works to your property.
- You will receive further updates about when work will begin on your street, and this will include information about any planned night works or wastewater shutdowns, if needed.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
