Details
- We are replacing the water supply pipes in your street as the existing pipes have reached the end of their service life.
- There will be times when on-street parking and vehicle access to properties is temporarily restricted. The contractor will door knock to allow residents to move vehicles if necessary.
- Traffic impacts can be expected such as lane closures,
one-way systems, closures of side roads, temporary traffic lights and footpath closures while these works are being undertaken. - The work may result in increased dust, noise and vibrations.
- We will try to keep any disruption to a minimum.
- Water supply to your property will be maintained, with a separate notice being given for any shut off when connecting to the new pipes.
- This is being coordinated with the construction of the South Express cycleway and work to replace water pipes on Railway Terrace.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
