Details

The existing stormwater pipeline that runs through the Corsair Bay Reserve from Park Terrace to the shoreline has reached the end of its serviceable life and needs to be replaced.

This project will involve multiple crews installing the new pipes and upgrading the surrounding area, which will include large excavations, pipelaying, concrete construction, asphalting and reinstatement works.

To enable these works and ensure the safety of the public, the Corsair Bay carparks and access road will be closed to vehicles during the construction period. There will be parking available on Park Terrace.

Pedestrian access to the Beach and walkway will still be available and will be clearly signposted.

There will be no restrictions to vehicles travelling along Park Terrace during the construction period, apart from during the replacement of existing sumps, where we expect any traffic disruptions to last no longer than a week. We will provide further updates before that work is undertaken.

Please follow all instructions and signposts when passing through the site.

We will keep disruptions to a minimum.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we complete this work.
