The existing standby generator and fuel tank are being upgraded to deal with any mains power failure that may arise in the future and to provide power during high tariff periods implemented by power supply companies. |

Details
- The existing generator and fuel tank will be removed, and a new generator and fuel tank will be installed.
- There will be construction traffic accessing the pump station and using the existing parking on Farrington Avenue during the project, but this will be kept to a minimum.
- The work may result in increased dust, noise, and vibrations. We will try to keep any disruption to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
- Please advise us if you have specific access requirements: e.g. medical visits, home helps, large vehicle deliveries and any planned works.
- If you are not the owner of this property but are a tenant, it would be appreciated if you would pass this leaflet on to the owner for their information.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
