Details
Large machinery will continue to operate and/or mobilise within Kahu Road during the investigation works.
What does this mean for you?
- There will be a full lane closure outside 34 Kahu Road for 2 days i.e. 28 and 29 August.
- Temporary speed limits of 30 km/h will be in place.
- The contractor will endeavor to assist with access where possible.
- The works are on a bus route. No stops will be affected. However, delays may be expected.
- Cyclists will need to merge with traffic during these works.
- Access to properties will be maintained.
- Drilling operations will create some noise. We aim to minimise noise as much as possible.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
