Details

Selwyn Street village crossing was identified as a location that could benefit from improvements and has been selected by the Waihoro Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board as one of their priority projects.

We are now looking at undertaking investigations of the underground service locations within the vicinity of the crossing as outlined in the map. These investigations will help to inform the planning and design of the improvements to the crossing.

We are anticipating works will be completed within one day (30 September), which will be managed by Spraymarks and their subcontractors. The timing of the work and certain activities is weather and road dependent, so if work needs to be rescheduled, it will be on 1 October.

Traffic Impacts

  • While we undertake the service location investigations, some street parking will be unavailable. We will try to minimise our disturbance as much as possible whilst working in the area.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
  • Please look out for staff from Spraymarks and follow signage on site. If you need any assistance, please approach a staff member who will be able to assist.
  • We thank you for your patience whilst we complete these works.
