Details
We are completing minor safety improvements in the Redcliffs Village area. These include widening the footpath at pinch points, tactile pavers, new shared path pavement markings, new kerb and channel, new bike stands, landscape areas and new asphalt footpath.
What You Need to Know
- There will be cones and construction vehicles whilst work is being carried out.
- Speed will be reduced to 30km/h through the work area.
- We will need to restrict some on-street parking, no parking cones will be placed before we start work. We will aim to minimise this as much as possible.
- The works in the area may require early/late starts to accommodate traffic flow.
- These works may need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
- There may be periods of noise and vibration, although we will aim to keep this to a minimum.
- Pedestrian access to footpaths will be maintained where possible and detours in place from time to time in some areas. Please follow signage and instructions of our temporary traffic management teams.
Driveway access
Access to properties will be maintained. However, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time. We will try to give you plenty of notice of this. However, if you need to get into or out of your property and we are in the way, please just talk to one of our friendly staff and we will make sure you can use your driveway.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
