What are we doing?
We are constructing a shared path cycleway through the rail corridor between Tuckers Road and Sturrocks Road rail crossing and between Barnes Road rail crossing and Main North Road.
The construction of the cycleway will include vegetation clearance, lowering of underground services, stormwater installation excavation, retaining wall and fence installation, streetlight installation, asphalt surfacing, line marking and landscaping.
Where are we working?
Traffic impacts
Shoulder closure and site entry/exits will be in place, with a reduced speed limit, at the following locations:
The Main North Road site entry/exit will be in place temporarily and not for the whole duration of the project.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
