Why |
We are renewing the existing footpath connection at the Eastern end of netball courts to the 4m wide shared pathway along Hagley Ave. These works will create smooth surfaces, removing tripping hazards and potholes in these areas of the park, improving pedestrian safety. |

Details
- The footpath will be temporarily closed to the public during this time while the works are completed in this area.
- Temporary site fencing and signs will be in place to help direct the public around the site to help maintain access around the sites.
- Spotters will be on site to safely assist pedestrians and motorist around the construction zone during this time.
- There will be heavy machinery operating at this time with construction plant and vehicle movements taking place during the day.
- There may be increased noise and dust during these works.
- Construction access to the site will be via the gateway off Hagley Ave.
- The works are scheduled to be completed during the week with the path reopened in time for weekend netball competitions.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
