Heathcote & Mount Pleasant - water main renewals

Details 

What you need to know:

• The next stage of this project will begin shortly.
• This stage involves installing new water supply pipes along the alignment as indicate on appended map.
• We will deliver further updates / notices to you detailing the staging of the works and any foreseeable impacts.
• To minimise disruption to the gondola and bus services in this area, some night works will be carried out. Our contractor will door knock and communicate this process to properties affected by night works prior to them starting.  The night works will occur during a three-week period over the duration stated above.   
• There may be times when vehicle access to your property is restricted. This will be temporary, and our contractor will door knock beforehand so you can move your vehicle if necessary. 
• The work may result in increased dust, noise, and vibrations. We will aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.   
• Water shutdowns will be part of this work and we will be in touch with more information at a later date about these.  Generally, these will occur between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday. Where possible, they will be planned to minimise disruption.

There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.

Bins

---

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
