Why |
We are renewing the existing driveway and carpark to create a smooth surface, by removing tripping hazards and potholes we aim to improve vehicle and pedestrian safety here. Some infrastructure will also be installed to help improve drainage within this area during the works. |

Details
- The driveway and carpark will be closed to the public during the construction period.
- Temporary access to the Spencerville Community Hub and Playcentre can be made by entering the Spencerville Reserve either off Styx River Place or via the pedestrian entrance off Heyders Road during the construction period. Members of the public will be directed to use throughout the duration of this project.
- Temporary site fencing and signs will be in place to help direct the public around the site to the temporary access points.
- Spotters will be on site to safely assist pedestrians and motorist around the construction zone during this time.
- There will be heavy machinery operating at this time with construction plant and vehicle movements taking place during the day.
- There may be increased noise and dust during these works.
- The Spencerville Community Hub and Spencerville Playcentre will remain open throughout the duration of this project.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
