Heathcote & Mount Pleasant - water main replacement : Christchurch City Council

What	We’re replacing water main pipes on several streets around Heathcote and Mt Pleasant.
Why	The existing water main is old and needs to be replaced.
Where	Station Road, Marsden Street & Bridle Path Road, Christchurch.
When	12 September 2022 until the end of March 2023. Monday to Saturday, 7.00am to 6.00pm (weather/site condition dependent).
Contact	The contractor is UINZ. Phone Ryan Thom on 027 236 4669, Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm.

This project will be split into different stages of work between September and March.
We will deliver further updates to you detailing the staging of the works and any foreseeable impacts.
There may be times when vehicle access to your property is restricted. This will be temporary, and our contractor
will door knock beforehand so you can move your vehicle if necessary.
The work may result in increased dust, noise, and vibrations. We will aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.
Water shutdowns will be part of this work and we will be in touch with more information at a later date about these.
Generally, these will occur between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
We will continue to keep you updated as this project progresses, detailing upcoming works, including any foreseeable impacts.

Noise

There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.

Bins

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
