join the existing cycle route with the already completed Ferry Road cycle way

Ferry Rd - innovating streets for people

  • Stage 1 is the one-way closure of Ferry Road (Eastbound) between St Asaph St and Fitzgerald Ave, this includes no entry into Ferry Road from St Asaph St and no left turn into Ferry Road from Barbadoes Street. All traffic exiting Williams St will only be able to turn left onto Ferry Road 
  • Stage 2 is the one-way closure of Ferry Road (Eastbound) between St Asaph St and Fitzgerald Ave, this includes no entry into Ferry Road from St Asaph St and no left turn into Ferry Road from Barbadoes Street. A full closure of Williams Street at the intersection of Williams St and Ferry Road 
  • Ferry Road between St Asaph Street and Barbadoes Street will remain one-way (westbound) one works are completed and 30km/h speed limit will be in place. Williams Street will also become an exit onto Ferry Rd (left) only once works are completed
  • Parking restrictions will be in place during this works, please follow all restrictions as required
  • There will be periods of construction noise and vibration, the contractor will ensure the noise is kept to a minimum wherever possible
  • Footpaths will be maintained with either a temporary footpath or the existing footpath. Please follow all footpath signs/directions, all temporary footpaths will be fenced
  • Any excavations will be fenced
  • Detour Routes will be signposted with traffic management signs
  • Please ensure your bins are outside your property as usual. Bins need to be outside by 6 am and our crew will move them and return if required
