We've finished our work on Grassmere Street.
We've completed our essential water main upgrades on Grassmere Street and alongside a section of the Papanui Parallel cycleway, between Grants Road and Rutland Street.
This work allowed us to replace pipes at the end of their service life, as well as add new pipes to future-proof water connections in this area.
To complete this work safely, we closed a section of the Puari ki Papanui - Papanui Parallel cycleway for four weeks, starting from Wednesday 2 July 2025. The cycleway has now reopened.
