Earth/grass surface 4WD track. Provides good access to and from other more challenging mountain bike tracks on the Crater Rim.
Start: At the end of Hillsborough Terrace.
Finish: Summit Road, Port Hills.
Access: End of Hillsborough Terrace or Summit Road.
Signage: None.
Description: This track climbs steadily from the end of Hillsborough Terrace. The first section is steep and rutted.
The track continues to climb steadily on grass until it reaches Summit Road.
Note: Generally the track stays open during wet weather.
