Councillor for Fendalton Ward.
Jamie Gough is a third term City Councillor, representing the Fendalton Ward. He is Chairman of the Development Forum and the Health and Safety Committee. He is Deputy Chairman of the Regulatory Performance Committee and also sits on the Finance and Performance and the Innovation and Sustainable Development Committees.
Jamie is a Director of Christchurch City Holdings Ltd (CCHL) and Chairman of Civic Building Ltd (CBL).
He comes from a private enterprise background, with a particular focus in property, asset management and corporate governance.
Jamie also has or currently sits on the Board(s) of Gough Group Ltd - an Australasian heavy machinery, transport and finance company which includes the New Zealand Caterpillar dealership and employs approximately 1,000 people; Canterbury Development Corporation Holdings Ltd; Canterbury Regional Innovation Systems Ltd; Vbase Ltd; AMI Stadium Ltd; Gough Corporation Holdings Ltd; and Gough Property Corporation Ltd.
He is passionate about Christchurch and his local community, having served on the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board for the past ten years and has been involved at governance and/or fundraising level for local charities including the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust, the Diabetes Research Institute Trust, the Foundation for Youth Development, the MacLean Institute Trust, and the Canterbury Earthquake Children's Trust. He also sits on the Christchurch-China Sister Cities Committee.
Jamie is a fifth generation Cantabrian and enjoys travel, art, food, film and rugby. He is married to Jasmine and they have a dog named Boston.
