Waka Kotahi are proposing to reduce the speed on SH73 and SH75 between Christchurch and Akaroa.

To support this project we are also proposing to reduce the speed on 49 local side roads adjoining the State Highway.

This will align with the local speed reductions we introduced earlier this year on Banks Peninsula.
