What we're doing

We’re proposing safer speeds in your area.

The Rapanui-Shag Rock cycleway will be completely constructed by mid-2022.

To create a safe speed for cyclists and motorists to share the road, we will be reducing the speed limit on Humphreys Drive and Tidal View.

Proposed changes

  • 50km/h to 30km/h on Tidal View
  • 70km/h to 60km/h on Humphreys Drive between Dyers Road and Ferry Road.

What we're asking

Is there anything we need to know before carrying out these changes?

For speed limits to be effective, they need to be understood and supported by the community. That’s why we want to hear from you.
