Head outside for some gentle exercise and meet new people with our weekly walking groups.

Join us for weekly guided walks that explore our local neighbourhoods, parks and rivers. Walks take 30 to 45 minutes and depart from our Recreation and Sport Centres.

Once a month we’ll also be holding a special session after the walk for everyone who wants to try out our centres for free – these sessions change each month but will include pool entry, gentle exercise classes and entry to our fitness centres.

Walks are set at an easy pace and routes change each week. Please bring a water bottle, and a jacket in case of wind or rain,  on the walk.

We’re teaming up with Northlands for these weekly walks.

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8am at Northlands mall.

On the last Thursday of each month we will run a special activity after the walking group. Check out the schedule below:

We meet on Tuesday's at 10am outside the main building entrance to Jellie Park. Walking groups start from Tuesday 20 April.
