Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a form of Yoga that focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, relaxation and greater posture awareness. This class will teach you the foundations of Yoga.

All equipment is provided. Comfortable clothing recommended, feel free to bring water with you. This class is done barefoot. 60-minute class.

Yoga – Restorative

Achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the use of props (bolsters, blankets, straps, yoga blocks), allowing your body to soften and the energy to flow.

This class has a slower pace than Hatha Yoga and is suitable for pregnant women up to their third trimester.

Yoga – Play

This advanced yoga class will give you the opportunity to explore poses/techniques more in depth.

The class starts with Sun Salutations to warm up and then transitions into some Yoga Play. We may choose to explore handstands, headstands, arm balances, backbends, or the many variations and transitions into and out of these poses.

A good portion of the class will be spent on exploring the different elements that are required to achieve a deeper experience of the posture. The pace and design of this class allows each student to spend more time working on a posture at their own level but with the guidance of a teacher.

As this is an advanced class participants must have attended regular Yoga or S&R classes. 60-minute class.

These fees are applicable for all levels of Pilates and Yoga.  Prices are based on one weekly lesson for a 10-week term. Prices will be adjusted accordingly if a term consists of more or less than 10 weeks.
