  • Have a positive attitude. Set a goal of how many times a week to exercise, be realistic and if you beat it, it's a bonus.
  • Mix up your training. Swimming, group fitness classes or the gym are all fantastic options to get your heart rate up and build muscle.

  • Try something different. The weather is getting warmer, so why not try the Recreation & Sport Centres ' Summer Series Connect' see the fitness board in your local centre for details. This series will feature activities such as; outside sessions with fitness equipment that teach participants new ways of working out.
