Description

From the car park at the dog exercise park, follow the path through a wooded area with boardwalks and two viewing platforms.

The second viewing platform is shaded by a large red beech tree – tawhairaunui is its Māori name.

Zig-zag up through native plantings to cross Victoria Park Road and head down to finish at the Visitor Centre.
