Description

This track starts a short distance uphill from the first gate on Rāpaki Track. It climbs via a series of zig-zags and then follows a well-defined grassy 4WD track. The track exits onto Rapaki.

Please leave all stock gates as you find them unless signage states otherwise.

A circuit walk can be created via Kōwhai and Rāpaki Tracks.

Get ready for this track using Plan My Walk(external link) by the NZ Mountain Safety Council. You can find track alerts, weather forecasts, trip reviews and a packing list, so you are set for your adventure.
