Kerbing, ground investigation and water main work will be undertaken on Riccarton Road at night.  The work will start on 18 March and take two weeks. During this time there will also be localised ground works and traffic light installation at the railway during the day. During April, the underground pipe work at Harakeke Street will be completed during the daytime.

The road surface will be repaired over May and June. Work will be undertaken during the day and night within the road. This is being implemented to shorten the construction period and to minimise the disruption to the public, local businesses and road users. The final water pipes will also be laid and connected to properties. There may be times when vehicle access to your property is restricted. This will be temporary and our contractor will door knock beforehand so you can move your vehicles if necessary.

Temporary traffic management will be installed. Please follow this at all times. Increased construction noise disturbance may be encountered but will be kept to a minimum.

Traffic delays may occur whilst the works are being undertaken. Temporary footpath closures/cordoned off areas may be encountered during construction. The work period is weather and road operations dependent.

We will provide regular updates during construction.
