Y Factor is an annual talent show for youth in Christchurch. 20 finalists have been selected from audition videos. 

$1000 cash prize is awarded to the winner and $500 cash prize to the runners up of each category. The overall winner, selected from the category winners, will also receive an extra $1500 cash prize.

Categories

  • Best Dance Act: solo performers, group performances, any dance genre
  • Best Singing Act: solo singers, duos, choral groups, bands with vocals
  • Best Variety Act: – instrumental performers, bands with no vocals, circo, acting, acrobatics, comedy
