Join us for a morning of music, workshops, story time, arts and crafts, face painting and more in celebration of our Next Generation Initiative here at The Piano.
We’re opening up our doors with drop-in activities, workshops and concerts for tamariki and their adults to unleash their creativity together.
Get lost in a captivating story, try out an instrument for size, create music together, or sing and dance – created in collaboration with our good friends at Christchurch School of Music, WORD Festival Christchurch, Music with Michal, Cathy Irons, and Emma Newborn.
Experience the joy of music together. In this fun and relaxed interactive session, tamariki and their adults will create all kinds of music on violin, piano, bucket drum, ukulele and more.
No prior experience is required or instruments are needed, but if you do have an instrument, you can bring it along.
Come along and explore the creative world of sound, with a laugh or two along the way.
