Walking Football

Experience the fun that is the slower version of the beautiful game where players walk instead of run.

Walking Football is the newest, slower version of the beautiful game.

It is exactly what it sounds like, a standard game of football where players walk instead of run.

Walking Football aims to provide an easy-access, playing option for people with restrictions that prevent them from playing traditional football.

While originally aimed at people over the age of 50, we welcome people of all ages and abilities to play. The game helps promote an active healthy lifestyle through cardiovascular fitness, is fun, and helps develop new friendships by keeping people connected to the wider football whānau.

Games are played on small fields, with small goals and smaller balls.
